Mapping Country

Work with bio-regional dye sources, drawing, writing and salvage sewing
during a week-long explorative journey. Make maps, build a journal
using recycled papers and take windfall-leaf collecting walks to create
unique and beautiful dye samplers while constructing a richly
textured stitched and dyed garment.

Join us for this inspiring workshop with India Flint, internationally
renowned botanical dye expert and innovator.  The workshop runs from
June 28 - July 2, from 10 am to 4 pm daily.  The cost is $485.00 (in
Canadian Funds).  For out-of-country participants, we require an
international money order in Canadian Funds.  We will send a
registration form that can be filled out and returned by email to
indicate your interest.  However, we will only confirm your
participation in the workshop once we have received payment.  A
materials list will be provided once you have secured a place in the
workshop.

A Talk with India Flint is also scheduled at the Textile Museum of Canada, June 30th at 6:30 pm.
