Moccasins, Mukluks & Mittens: Traditional Leather Hide & Beading Workshop & Native Lunch

Tuition: $315 including all materials ($50 surcharge for mukluk materials) and supplies and a native cuisine lunch on Sunday + HST
Maximum 8 participants

In this two day workshop, led by Ojibway artist Hiawatha of Native Bebé, students will learn indigenous leather working techniques and skills needed for traditional beading. Students will then choose to construct a warm and beautiful pair of traditional leather deer hide mittens, mukluks or moccasins. These will be decorated with fur, fringes and beads. A delicious native lunch will be served on Sunday.
